Start a playgroup
You can start a playgroup! All you need to get going are:
- a few interested families
- a place to meet and
- some toys and play equipment.
Let families know about your playgroup
Contact us about putting something on our playgroup noticeboard to let other families know about your new playgroup. Have your new playgroup listed on our Find a playgroup database so we can refer families to your group.
Invite new parent groups to join your playgroup
Lots of playgroups visit local maternal and child health centres to speak to new parent groups about their playgroup and invite them to join once their sessions at the centre end.
