National Playgroup Week is 25 March to 1 April and a perfect opportunity to help other families discover the benefits of playgroup.

26 March: Riddell Road Playgroup is holding a teddy bears picnic in the park with children's activities and  a yet to be confirmed visit from the CFA.

26 March: City of Greater Geelong playgroups are showcasing what their playgroups have to offer by providing displays and simple interactive children's activities at a National Playgroup Week celebration at Steampacket Garden being planned by the City of Greater Geelong Family Services. Planned as well is storytelling, African drumming, an animal farm, face painting and carousel rides
.

27 March: Shire of Campaspe supported playgroups are collaborating with community playgroups and manning play experiences for all families to explore at the Shire of Campaspe's Biggest Playgroup at Apex Park in High St, Echuca. Free healthy morning tea of yoghurt and fruit/vegetable platters will be provided. The local library will run a Rhyme Time Session. 27 & 28 March: Natured Kids Outdoor Playgroup is meeting in George Pentland Botanic Gardens, Frankston, for a walk through natural bush to discover nests built by birds, Easter games, chocolate Easter egge hunt through eucalypt forest, making Easter bunny food to take home to leave out at Easter time. 1 April:
