Encouraging parent participation March 2011
Our March forum explored ways professionals working with playgroups could engage parents, encourage families to become more involved at playgroup and looked at building partnerships with families.
Guest speaker
Helen Cunningham, MCH Key Ages and Stages Project Implementation Manager at DEECD spoke and gave an insight into the complex role of maternal and child health nurses.
Information sharing
Those in attendance shared lots of ideas for how to encourage parent participation and provided comprehensive forum feedback.
