Conference
Playgroup Victoria presents a two day conference, Playgroup: Laying the Foundations, on 3 & 4 May. Keynote speakers are Nairn Walker (Bridges out of Poverty) and child and adolescent psychologist Michael Carr-Gregg. Nairn Walker will discuss how economic disadvantage impacts on every level of our community. Michael Carr-Gregg will talk about the importance of play to a child's healthy development.
Other speakers will highlight emerging and promising playgroup practice.
Interested organisations are invited to submit abstracts on one of our conferences three themes: connecting, supporting and learning. Registrations will open on 1 February.
Playgroup Professional Network forum
Playgroup Victoria hosts a forum for professionals working with playgroups to share information, gather new ideas and link with others.
