VEYLDF: a framework for play
We have developed a suite of new resources based on the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF) to prompt discussion and thought about what we do at playgroup and how we do it.
The VEYLDF goes beyond just guiding ideas for play: it encourages us to see that learning takes place during everyday interactions, conversations and daily life, and is compatible with outcomes of Belonging, Being and Becoming: The Early Years Learning Framework for Australia (Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations 2009).
