Expecting your first child or know someone who is?
The transition to becoming a parent is one of the most significant life events that you will experience. Would you like to feel more prepared, supported and informed? Transitions' is a non-profit research study conducted by a collaborative group of perinatal health professionals. We are inviting women to participate from the third trimester of their pregnancy. Based in Melbourne this research consists of a group programme and a telephone-based support service to inform, prepare and support those during the transition to parenthood. Study on pregnancy and postnatal adjustment
Researchers at Melbourne University and the Parent-Research Institute at Austin Hospital are jointly assessing the perception women have about their experiences of pregnancy and childbirth to develop a deeper understanding of postnatal distress.
